How to Apply Stick-On Nails Like a Pro: A Step-by-Step Guide

Applying stick-on nails at home has never been easier! With a little preparation and the right technique, you can achieve a flawless, salon-quality manicure in minutes. Follow our step-by-step guide to ensure your stick-on nails look stunning and last as long as possible.

Step 1: Prepare Your Natural Nails

Cleaness: Start by washing your hands and nails with soap and water to remove any oils or residue. This ensures the adhesive sticks properly.

Trim and File: Trim your natural nails and gently file them to remove any rough edges. This will help the stick-on nails adhere better.

Push Back Cuticles: Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles. This creates a clean surface for the stick-on nails to adhere to.

Buff: Lightly buff the surface of your natural nails to remove any shine. This step helps the adhesive bond more securely.

Step 2: Select the Right Size

Match the Sizes: Choose the stick-on nail that best fits each of your natural nails. If you’re between sizes, opt for the smaller one to avoid overlap on the skin.

Lay Them Out: Lay out the nails in order before application to ensure a smooth process.

Step 3: Apply the Stick-On Nails

Peel Off Adhesive: If your nails come with pre-applied adhesive, simply peel off the backing. If not, apply a small amount of nail glue to the back of the stick-on nail.

When using the Glue Nail
